What we keep, and why
Effective 17 October 2026. Deepgate Diving Company is made and sold by Run Rabbit Run Productions LLC, a Florida company ("we"). The short version: the game collects nothing, the website has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies, and we keep only what is needed to sell you the game and, if you ask, to send you news.
The game
The game does not connect to the internet and uploads nothing. When you press F8, it writes a report folder (a screenshot, the end of the log, the boat you were flying and your note) to your own computer. It goes nowhere unless you send it to us.
When you buy
The checkout is run by Stripe, which sells the game as the merchant of record and uses the details it collects (including your card and billing address) for the payment, tax and fraud checks, under its own privacy policy. Your card details never reach us. Stripe gives us your name, email address, billing address, the amount and the order's status. We use them to deliver the game, to email you your download page, to handle refunds and support, and to keep the business and tax records the law requires. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what it does: stripe.com/privacy.
If order emails are switched on, they are sent through Resend, which receives your email address and the message for that purpose only.
News from the dock
If you sign up for news, we keep your email address, the country your connection came from and the date. We use them only to send news about Deepgate, a few times a year. To leave, reply to any of those emails or write to [email protected], and your address is deleted.
The website
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and keep the site safe from attacks. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
The trailer may be played by YouTube, using its privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing from YouTube loads until you press play; once you do, YouTube's privacy policy applies to that video.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your information to anyone.
- Share it, except with the services named above that do the work for us, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require (usually seven years). Your news sign-up is kept until you leave the list.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days. Records we must keep by law (such as a sale) are kept for that purpose only. The game and the site are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
